In the Free Life Kids Nursery, children begin their journey toward lifelong learning and leadership in a clean, safe, and nurturing environment. The nursery environment creates an innovative culture that lays the foundations of spiritual development informally and spontaneously throughout the first year of life.
Children learn through the use of their own senses by:
· Listening to loving, influential adults read them biblical story books.
· Hearing biblical lullabies.
· Interacting with other infants.
· Exploring developmentally appropriate toys that help develop their basic motor skills.
Preschool age children are constantly moving, touching, and investigating. They learn through experiences, imitation, and repetition. Because children’s moral development begins to form at the age of two, we implement our Elevate Jr. curriculum when children turn two.
Elevate Jr. uses animated videos to teach Bible lessons in a fun and creative way. In addition, Elevate Jr. utilizes interactive activities, games, crafts, and songs to help the children apply the leadership lesson to their lives.
Elementary children are at a critical point in their lives, during which they begin to understand and develop their morals and values. This crucial period in a child’s life will impact their decisions and actions throughout their life.
Every weekend the elementary ministry utilizes many different teaching methods: live action videos and performances, object lessons, small group lessons, music, dance, and more! All of this is done in an age-appropriate environment to teach children the principles and values that will help them become the leaders God has designed them to be.
